I hate throwing stuff away. Can’t do it. So when I discovered I could make sock monsters, it was as if a door had opened, and light and joy flowed through. My sock-mountain, which had been evading the bin for so long, stopped being a lurking, accusing menace, and became an opportunity, a resource!

I love making sock monsters, they’re so much fun.  Although, these monsters never turn out the way I expect them to, they seem to have a will of their own. Every one is a surprise.

Monsters can be purchased from DaWanda.com, or please email me if you’d like a special one just for you (or your friend, or your niece, or your partner, or whatever) – I love being told what to do.

Me? I’m a work-at-home-mum, seeing if it’s possible to earn a half-decent living by stitching up weird things out of old socks. Hey, it’s worth a try! I’m based in Yorkshire, and I like rain (luckily), very good chocolate, and crafting things that possibly shouldn’t be crafted. I also like receiving random emails, so go ahead, make my day 🙂
